Karina Newman is a certified Spanish teacher with a degree in architecture from Universidad del Zulia in Venezuela, where she worked as an architect for 10 years. In 2005, after she moved to the United States, she found a new passion in her life: education. She earned her teaching certificate and began working at Millhopper Montessori School as the middle school Spanish teacher. She taught Spanish at the middle school level for six and a half years. During this time, she founded La Escuela Spanish Learning Center, where she has been teaching Spanish to children and adults for seven years.
